The 6th annual SR.com "Official Mock Draft 1st Round: Complete (1 Viewer)

To end the first round, Baltimore selects Jonathan Cyprien, S, Florida International

The Ravens have selected him not only based on need, but for what he can bring to the defense. Though technically we don't have defined SS or FS in our style of defense, we feel that he will play either style well.

Walter-Football.com:

Jonathan Cyprien, S, Florida International
Height: 6-0. Weight: 209. Arm: 30 1/2. Hand: 10 1/8.
Projected 40 Time: 4.60.
Projected Round (2013): 1-2.
3/9/13: Cyprien is one of those small-school players who really helped himself at the Senior Bowl. He made his presence felt all week. Cyprien was a tough defender who was hitting hard in the ground game. He also really impressed with his pass coverage by demonstrating the ability to run with receivers and cover tight ends. The passing-driven NFL is looking for safeties with that skill set.

The senior led his team with 93 tackles in 2012. He also contributed four interceptions, five passes broken up and one forced fumble. There is a lot to like about Cyprien, and it looks like he has improved his draft stock to contend for the first round.

Solid zeetes. Before I clicked on the pick he was the first guy that popped into my head. I was thinking "I would love to draft him if he is there later for Tampa, but they just drafted Barron. I like him here for Balt though".

Nice pick for the Ravens, zeetes. :clapbig:

Now where's the thread for round 2, already?

TOTALLY kidding :hihi:

crosswatt/Rugger, you guys are doing truly awesome this year! :9:

Thanks but the credit goes to Cross and Scott B. Mamba is quiet but takes on every task asked of him and we don't skip a beat. He and Scott b are very under valued IMO.

BTW can anyone take anything I say seriously with this ridiculous avatar? I made it the night before the draft and my wife and son keep wanting to look at it. I feel uncomfortable with them always looking over my shoulder...not that either of them can read.

:spit:

And, yeah, it is kind of difficult not to chuckle at any post you make right now with that thing on the side...

thanks guys. i've bought into the cyprien hype and was really hoping no one would bring up his name *ahem*.

Thank you, Crosswatt for making my pick. Here's the write-up:

With the 31st pick in the 2013 "Official" Mock Draft, the San Francisco 49ers select Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame.

There were a few defensive guys available on my board, but Eifert is just too good to pass up here. Jim likes to use two tight ends and with Delane Walker gone, Eifert can create matchup nightmares when paired up with Vernon Davis. When it came down to it, I thought, who would I be most afraid of the 49ers adding, and Eifert was the guy. He has potential to be in the same category as the Tony Gonzales, Jimmy Graham and Gronks of the league.

Some good choices in the last few picks, of course I'm upset some these players didn't drop out of the first round but still... :9:

I got the San Fran pick right in the non-official mick draft picking Eric Reid without trading up though
