Detailed writeup to come, suffice it to say, we love his tenacity and, despite his diminutive stature, feel he can be an effective contributor. Maybe as our... Nickell corner? Mahaaahahhaahha.

*|*,**:* NFL Draft Scout Player Profile

2013 Cal PA Pro Day: California (Pa.) FS Rontez Miles looks like mid-round possibility...Representatives from 13 NFL teams gathered at the pro day held at California University of Pennsylvania on March 11, where Rontez Miles - who participated at the NFL Scouting Combine - was the key attraction at a workout held outdoors.
Miles (5-foot-11 7/8, 203 pounds), a free safety, ran the short shuttle in 4.15 seconds and the three-cone drill in 6.85 seconds. Due to windy conditions, Miles opted not to run the 40-yard dash after his agent advised him that he ran well enough in the 40 at the combine (officially 4.62 seconds). Miles is a mid-round pick possibility in the 2013 NFL Draft. - Gil Brandt, NFL.com

With the 204th selection in the 2013 NFL "Experts" Mock Draft, the Kansas City Chiefs select...

Kyle Juszczyk, FB, Harvard

While Juszczyk isn't a household name to fans, he is well-known in NFL scouting circles. He declined invitations to play in the CDS All-Star game in Tucson, Ariz. and the East-West Shrine Game, prefering to focus on the Senior Bowl, where he enjoyed a strong week.

That didn't earn him an invite to the 2013 Scouting Combine, but Juszczyk remains a strong candidate to be drafted in the later rounds or certainly be a priority free agent an H-back prospect who can lead block and be involved in the passing game.

Juszczyk led the Ivy League with eight touchdown receptions and led a potent Harvard team with 52 catches for 706 yards (13.6 ypc). For his career, he set the mark for all Harvard tight ends with 125 catches (6th all-time) for 1,576 yards (7th all-time) and 22 touchdowns (3rd all-time).

ANALYSIS

Strengths: Good H-back/fullback candidate. Good lead blocker, with the ability to de-cleat defenders. Soft hands, runs solid routes and can pick up the tough yards after the catch.

Weaknesses: Level of competition concerns. Must display the versatility to be able to line up in the backfield and be an effective lead blocker in the hole against NFL linebackers.

This is a player we feel will be an asset for a very long time. A good runner, good receiver out of the backfield, and an up and coming blocker, Kyle fits in to Andy Reid's system very well. At this point in the draft, he is a steal.

Ready for my 7th rounder. Don't do me wrong here, Pitts and KC!

With the last pick of the 6th round (206), the Pittsburgh Steelers select Michael Ford, RB, LSU...

Explanation: The Steelers need a RB with explosive athleticism at RB, because our roster is filled with plodding power backs. Ford was highly underused at LSU, and he is a great athlete at the RB spot. He has a ton of untapped potential and may be a steal at this point in the draft.

Overview

Ford’s capped off his high school career, with a senior season at Leesville High School that saw him rush for 2,953 yards and 29 touchdowns en route to a first-team 4A all-state selection in 2008. Ford finished his senior season with nine games of 200-yards or better and finished career with 20 straight 100-yard games, a streak that dated back to 2006. His career yardage set the Leesville rushing record, topping the previous mark set by former LSU standout Cecil Collins in 1994.

Ford took a redshirt his first year on campus. In 2010, Ford played in 10 games, and earned two starts. He rushed 41 times for 235 yards and three touchdowns. The following season, Ford played in all 14 games, and recorded three starts. He had 127 carries, seven touchdowns, and a team-leading 756 rushing yards. In his redshirt junior year, Ford carried the ball 71 times for 392 yards and three touchdowns.
