Man I am hungry. One of my favorite past times is to cook. For me, its therapeutic.
But I love to eat too. So, I am always looking for new ideas to break up the monotony of chicken, beef, pork, etc.
So, this thread is all about awesome home-cooked foods. You don't have to list an exact recipe, just the idea. Of course, you are welcome to list the recipe. I think some on here would appreciate that.
Ill start.
I make awesome fish tacos. Halibut is the best, but I also use catfish filets.
Take your filets, cut them into one inch cubes. Use Lemon-pepper seasoning. Put both in a bag, shake it up.
Take white-corn tortilla shells, fill pan about half inch deep with oil. I used to use Canola, now I use Peanut.
Cook fish over medium-high until done. Take off. Then take corn tortillas and place them into the pan until the top bubbles, then flip.
Serve with freshly cut tomatoes, lettuce, and salsa. NOT Picante sauce, and not Ortega, Taco Bell, or Pace. I mean REAL salsa.
ENJOY!
