This weekend there will be some very familiar names for folks from Louisiana to watch when the two NFL championship games are played.
For the New York Giants, quarterback Eli Manning, who grew up in New Orleans and attended Isidore Newman High School, is the offensive face of the G-men, but he is not the only Louisiana-bred athlete on the field.
Outside linebacker Reggie Torbor who grew up in Baton Rouge and attended Lee High School before heading to Auburn University is in the starting lineup for the Giants. Two other high profile Louisiana athletes in former St. James High School standout Corey Webster and former Assumption High School running back Brandon Jacobs flank him.
