1 One more day. That’s it. But hey, we have a couple of practice squad additions that didn’t get covered in all the 99 days we’ve been doing this, so let’s get you familiar with them

Dwayne Washington 6’ 1” 223 RB Washington

Washington is a big back who has struggled to translate his gifts and talents into on-field production, but he’ll get some good coaching here, and maybe some help putting things together. He’s a bit of insurance at the RB spot, especially for the first 4 weeks, so we would love to see him develop here.

Vince Biegel 6’ 3” 246 LB Wisconsin

This may be a good get for us. Biegel is a fourth round pick by Green Bay last year who did not play in the first part of last season due to injury. He was playing well in camp and in preseason, and he may have gotten cut in basically a numbers game. He was also a popular local Badger player for Green Bay. They may have thought he would clear waivers. He’s looking at playing in Dennis Allen’s defense as an opportunity to hone his skills and learn more. Good depth signing for us.

The cherry on the Countdown Sundae is a day away! All the time and effort put forth by Saint Tex and SaintLuke, which we all have thoroughly enjoyed and have our utmost thanks, was all for this moment that's nigh upon us. Who Dat!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you Saint Tex for another 99 day COUNTDOWN to the first day of the season. It was a great review of the players who have the honor and privilege of wearing the BLACK-n-GOLD uniform. Many would love to wear the BLACK-n-GOLD but only a few are chosen.
However there are a few players not on our team that we think look good with the BLACK-n-GOLD on them. So this morning, SAINT TEX and I thought it might be good to do a little mini-countdown of other NFL players who we feel look great with a little BLACK-n-GOLD on them.
#3 Jameis Winston

Now Jameis doesn't look all that good when he is just wearing the "Bucanneer red or Bay Orange" { that's their official names), but when you put a little BLACK-n-GOLD on him, he really looks a lot better to me.




But Jameis isn't going to allow us to see him wear some BLACK-N-GOLD today so lets just see how backup QB Ryan Fitzpatrick looks,

and the COUNTDOWN continues...

#2 is Mr. "Number Two" himself Matt Ryan

When Matt wears a little BLACK-n-GOLD he always looks like
he is in pain.....

and at numero uno,

#1 "Mr Fashion model himself" Cam Newton

Sorry Cam you only look good with a lot of BLACK-N-GOLD draped all over you

Hey if we win today, we will automatically be one up on two division opponents, since Atlanta lost already. Such a great way to start the season.
