Well, the NFL Drought begins today. Any plans/tips for survival this offseason? I think I'm going to try and make it through by writing a book.

It gets worse every year, and I almost didn't survive the last one.

Well, there's the pro bowl next week. If you have satellite there's the NFL Network.

When the NFL is over, the NFL starts for me.
The National Football League (Gaelic Football) kicked off on Saturday night, and the GAA (Gaelic Football and Hurling seasons), begin the first weekend in February, and end the 3rd weekend in September. Handy enough for me.

Well my outlet will be lots of fishing.(Can't wait for the spring)

Well, there's this thing called "baseball". Too bad most people don't even know you have a team down there.

Well when I lived on the MS coast I would love going over to watch the Zephyrs play ball......living in Houston since 2000 I go every once in awhile to see the Astros - Cubs series because I'm a Cubs fan.

I watch very little baseball anymore....I can only make it through about 4 innings then I usually doze off. I also like college baseball I just love that "ting" from the aluminum bat, LOL.

Football is my favorite sport by leaps and bounds....I will watch a lot of NFL Network and the other leagues when I can but I have lost that got to watch every other sports(NBA,NHL,MLB, heck even some MLS games), game every night.....I blame my wife, LOL.

After the Pro Bowl I will direct most of my attention to the draft. The draft is less than 3 months away and after that training camps and the Hall of Fame game are less than 3 months away. The withdrawl will suck, but I'm sure we'll entertain ourselves with mock drafts aplenty and trade/free agent fodder. It'll go by in a snap!

Sounds like you need some more hobbies.
