The latest season of the Flash starts tonight. It used to be a show that my son and I would watch live or immediately after it DVRed. This past season, we ended up just watching it whenever. I'm going to give the new season a chance because I've been with it since the beginning, but unless they feature less Iris and more Flash, then it'll become another "watch it whenever" season.

This Armageddon series, first episode wasn't too bad. Cool seeing Ray back for a bit. But some of it seemed corny and awkward. I want to see where this goes though. Seems like it has some potential.

Didn't watch it yet; these super hero shows have gone from great to meh in the last few years.

It's like they used them as their own personal woke-ness sounding board.
Yeah, that was a big part of it, that and their target audience seems to be young teens and so the bar was lowered for that demographic. The thing is, you can make a perfectly good, non-cheesy show that appeals to them and to super hero fans as well.

I don't have any fatigue for Supes, I just can't take any more of CW's version. It's like watching those darn vampire movies with my daughter who were all sparkly. I had no choice. I ride motorcycles, hunt, fish and shoot guns. I also have 3 daughters, I had to find some way to be a part of their life and their interests. I also hate the way they are portraying Flash in the new Justice League movies. Flash is a bad arse. Not some awkward stumbling coward.

I think his presentation in Zack Snyders cut was much better than Whedon's cut.

I have completely checked out on all CW superhero shows not called Stargirl.

What, no Superman & Lois? Thought you liked that one.

But yeah, Stargirl and S&L are my 2 favorites. I still watch the others occasionally or not as enthusiastically.

I have yet to see Superman and Lois. Would like to but I need to start on episode 1. Can't find it online anywhere.

I forgot Superman and Lois was even CW. It's so different tonally it slips my mind. That is not only a show I like, it's one of my favorite superhero shows ever for a single season. We will see where it goes from here.

If you have CW with your TV package, you can watch it either on demand or on the CW app. I have a new TV and I could download the CW app that way, although I haven't tried yet.

For sure. Baffling how far superior it is compared to the other shows.
