The Texans have Watson, Hopkins, Stills, Fuller, Fells, Hyde, and Johnson on offense alone. Then they have play makers on defense but yet can’t go nowhere or get a playoff bye. They are not even look at as a dominating team. Imagine if Sean Payton was the head coach of Texans, with that talent? Saints have an aging QB, two offensive weapons(3 if you count Cook) and they’ve had 12 and 13 win seasons. We also seen what he did with the Saints from 09-11. You can even make a case on offense alone that the Texans have better offensive weapons/talent than the 09-11 Saints team.

Got a better one for you Imagine Bellichek coaching the Saints we’d had won many Super Bowls and they would have called us a dynasty.

Actually if the Saints had just swapped divisions with the Zpars they’d have 3 or 4 more rings. Oh those byes and home field advantages.

Not to take anything away from coach Payton, but look no further than the offensive lines. The Saints line is consistently one of the better units in the league. The Texans line is consistently one of the worst.
The OL has been the organizational failure of the Texans since they started. This is a head scratcher since most of their HC's were offensive minded coaches. Why in the world wouldn't you build up your offensive line?

Have they hired a GM yet?

What good is home field advantage when we have only one good WR? Our Achilles heel is not where we play, it’s not being able to convert on offense when needed. This year’s and last year’s team was built for home or the road. Just didn’t have enough pieces that was desperately needed.
