I don't play, but are/were any of you familiar with Jimmy Foster? He was a long time local luthier. My dad was his accountant and I went with him a few times when he was dropping off paperwork...loved the smell of the place. The combination of the woods and the stains and laquers was just amazing

Added a Mesa Traditional 412 to my setup, also got a Fractal FC-12 foot controller. Paired all this with my Fractal AxeFX3 and Matrix power amp. I did order a Mesa JP-2C head to go with everything. Also bought a new and bigger home and got a guitar/workout room. Still setting that up though.

Just received this Diezel Herbert MKIII today, this thing is heavy!! Was at a cheer competition all day and now doing dinner. Was able to unbox, inspect and setup. Will fire it up in the am and run it through its paces.

Astounding, isn't it? Not only that, but his knowledge and recollection of what he's got, where it came from and what it cost was insane. The details of what he did and when and why was even more impressive.
Hard to believe he can remember all that from over 50 years and even harder given the generous amount of chemicals he ingested over the first 30 or so years of it.
