Praying that you're negative, brother. How soon do you get results? How is the set up there?

Had about 8 cars in front of me. They said 3-5 days, but I've also heard labs are backed up so who knows. Test itself sucks, but isn't awful. I was in and out in less than an hour.

Radio said there was only 100 tests available and that was including when it was limited to first responders and emts and then by 1pm they opened it up to anyone, even folks with no fever says that there may not be demand because folks aren't taking it seriously enough still.

When I left the house, I fully expected to see a mile long line and there was literally nothing.

Adding, I generally vape roughly 8-10ml a day. Since Sunday I've vaped less than 5ml combined

Hi, not judging in any way but I have read that vaping can make virus worse. If there's any way you could cut out the vaping completely it might be a good idea. Just a suggestion. Take care and I pray you feel better soon and the test is negative.

I understand completly, trust me, I'm limiting as much as I can without completly loosing my mind. When I'm not sick, my vape is an extention of my hand. Haven't touched it so far today.

That is awesome... I wish that I could get tested... Thats the thing, My life would be different if I either knew I was or wasn't. Good luck to you.

I had night sweats all night. But this morning my temp was down.. Cough still sucks, slight bit of chest pain.. But overall I feel a little better than yesterday.. In fact. A whole lot better than yesterday. Throat still hurts like hell, but gargling with warm salt water and vinager.

I am self quarentining until I know something factual or I can go three days without a fever.

I gave up smoking 10 years ago.. Not even vaping... Thank Gosh that I did... For the past 10 months I been laying off the carbs and trying to exercise.

and when this thing first started... I began a buffet smorgasbord of vitamins to try and build up my immune system.

I'd like to ask that this thread be used for those of use that have this (or suspect that we do) use it for how we are progressing.

I cannot verify that I have Covid-19... But I got something...

But since Monday I have had a bad sore throat... This is day 5 for me... A light fever has kicked in since yesterday.. it's up to about 100.1 now. Throat is very sore. Cough is not too bad Sometime dry, sometimes coughing up phlegm. ... Breathing is ok at this time.. But I do have occasional lung pain every now and then.

I'll keep updating regularly... I hope that others will join in so we can follow this progression and have a little hope.

Edit- I am thankful I got a bunch of gatorade.

Sunday the 14th I woke up with a "tight chest" and an occasional cough that was pretty damn dry. No other symptoms though, but I felt that Lung capacity was slightly diminished with zero other symptoms.

Went to work Monday, did fine, other than slightly nagging cough and some sinus issues that cleared up after I took Claritin.

Tuesday, same, was off work, did household stuff no issues, just irritating cough.

Weds, went to work, chest felt exactly the same, but felt a little drained and certain normal tasks took a little bit more effort. Work was slow, so I left early to get a little rest. No fever, no other symptoms.

Thursday, chest felt the same, another short day, 6 hour shift, came home and took a nap as I always do and awoke feeling just a tiny bit off. Took temp and it was 100.0. Decided to call west Jeff testing hotline and described everything to them and was told I wasnt eligible and to stay home until I ran no fever at all for 3 consecutive days without the help of Tylenol. Called Boss and explained. He understands and said to stay home (I have no sick pay BTW)

Today, feeling a little run down, chest is still the same, slight diminished capacity, slightly more nagging cough, but not coughing uncontrolled, and temp bouncing around between normal 98.6 to 100.2 with no Tylenol.

Frustrated. Just want to know if I have it or not.

So here I sit. Without being layed off. With no sick or vacation pay, wondering if I'll even be eligible for any assistance because I'm neither unemployed or positive confirmed. I do have medical insurance.

The swab up nose didn't make you tear up?

My buddy from Tulane said they are instructed to make you cry to make sure they get deep enough sample. Lol

I am feeling much better today.. Still the bad sore throat, but have not had a temperature all day. My last reading was 98.1 But this throat is killing me.. It's not the Center of the throat. It's like both sides of my throat.

I took a walk around the neighborhood tonight.. If I can go three days with no fever then I will feel way better about this...

But this is what really concerns me...

And sometimes, patients start to feel better before their health quickly deteriorates. "That's what we're seeing with these patients who get a lot worse," Lyn-Kew said. "They're doing OK, and then all of a sudden they're really fatigued, a lot more shorter of breath and having chest pains."

Why are you not taking any medicines? The first things we bought was different types of medicines (Tylenol, cough syrup, sore throat lozenges, etc.)

Joe, what that doesn't say is you have the same symptoms (spike fever, cough and aches) then they subside and return.

If you have had a sore throat for several days, sounds more like strep but I would teledoc if you have in ur area. Especially if feels like swallowing razor blades. (burning vs a swollen throat)

I realize everyone different but really sounds positive. (as to not covid).

I've had sinuses since March 9. Still have em. Trust me I know ur feeling. Taking temp every few hours for last 2 weeks lol. Starting to see improvement now that heat has returned and trees are growing leaves (before was pollen)
