What class would these guys be in Louisiana? I would think they would just murder the Catholic League on size alone.

so they play in a lower division ??? end of story said they are in "public school division" and they recruit from around the region.

nuff said.

I would venture that they would be in 4 a here in state.

But i doubt they could go up against the likes of Curtis, Rummel, Evangel, BR Catholic and have the success they have up there.

3 300+ lb HS kids?
wow

We had a river parish school come down to the arts/academics HS where I taught and it looked like that snippet from the SchoolHouse Rocks episode about "3"
those kids were giant

Considering those stats, I actually wouldn't blame that school for forfeiting. Some of those guys basically shoved the opposing players out of the way in that video.

John Curtis back in the day was pretty good before LHSAA checked birth certificates, eligibility, where you live etc.

In my area we kind of have the same problem. When it comes to playoffs then catholic schools are involved in the tournament. These catholic schools recruit kids. Thus giving them the advantage over public schools. Every year a catholic school wins the state championship. It's even worse in wrestling. The catholic schools and academy schools simply dominate the public schools.

They would be 5A here but it sounds like they would try to hide in 3A. There are some schools around here that could match their size, maybe not lb for lb but it could be close. I am willing to bet some of the skilled position players around here would push give them some competition.
