Rumors that Amazon was looking into offering a live TV package as well, have now been confirmed.

Amazon creating live TV package - Business Insider
The rumor

confirmed.

No details on the pricing or offereings yet.

With Amazon getting into this arena, pushing the boundaries on retail, cloud services, etc. I really do wonder how large they can grow. As long as they keep their laser focus on customer service, speed and cost, I think they can do a lot.

I'm very glad I was able to buy a few shares a while back while it was trading in the $700's... or course, I wish I did this a year or two before when they were in the $400-500 range. Wow.

Today they hit $998/share ad are now hovering around $996.

My TSLA and my AAPL actually closed DOWN today... Jiminy Cripes. 🤬
A lot in the Tech sector, like NVDA were getting boosted extra, since they were safe havens. Now that there is better sentiment in the other sectors, those safe havens will evaporate. It's part of why I got out of NVDA again. Even though I'm still holding APPL.. I may regret that.

My DFS jumped a lot. PRU popped too. D is doing well.

The Vix has gotten quite low. It's retracing it's lowest since late February (it got to just above 20 once, in mid-August).

With the Covid numbers, vaccine overpromising, and potential election volatility, it seems that a spike could easily come in the next few weeks.

I'm opening a UVXY position.

I'd do that if I could. Sounds like a winning strategy imo.

Well that was good timing. My position, opened just before my post, is up 2.25% since.

Anyone invest in Chinese EV market, LI, XPEV, and NIO? IMO, they are very bullish. XPEV has good ER today and up 30%. It’s up 100%+ in 2 weeks. NIO is up 150% in 1 1/2 months and LI is up 50%. LI’s ER is tomorrow and NIO’s ER is next week.

VIXY is better insulated for the possibility that it just doesn't spike. Just depends on your confidence I suppose.
Just wash sold VIXY and went UVXY. It does seem at little riskier but I can take that at this point. My portfolio still hasn't recovered from the rona selloff. I'm goin in deep yall!

Boom!

The real concern with UVXY is the decay if it stays flat for more than a couple of weeks.

I can handle the risk at this point. I'm with you on the VIX though for pretty much the same reasons. I think by early next year the bottom's gonna drop out on this bullish pattern. Just too many factors trending in the opposite direction.
