After F1 took a year off from the greatest day in auto-racing by moving Monaco a week forward, they're back to the traditional Memorial Day slot. Of course it's not Memorial Day in Europe but it's a great day of racing kicked off by F1's most legendary race, then on to the USA's most legendary race, and capped off by Nascar's longest race, the 600 mile crown jewel event at Charlotte.

This year will the 80th Monaco Grand Prix, the 107th Indy 500, and the 62nd Coca-Cola 600.

F1 at Monaco will run two practice sessions on Friday, qualifying at 10AM EDT on Saturday, and lights out at 9AM EDT on Sunday (ESPN).

The Indy 500 grid is set, with Alex Palou on pole. Final practice on Friday (Peacock). Race goes green at apprx. 12:45PM EDT on Sunday (NBC).

The Coke 600 will have qualifying on Saturday at 7PM EDT (FS1) and then go green Sunday evening at approximately 6:15PM EDT (FOX).

Note also there will be a full weekend of racing at Charlotte starting Friday night with ARCA at 6pm, the trucks at 8:30, and Xfinity will run their 300 miler at 1pm. All are on FS1.

Pretty cool docuseries running now.

100 Days to Indy.

Wreck yesterday at Indy puts Stefan Wilson in the hospital (he’s okay but cracked vertebrae) and Graham Rahal back into the race.

Yeah, really looking forward to this weekend. Nice to have Monday off too.

Monaco GP outcome was not unexpected in terms of the race leader. Who else made the podium and missed it was a little more surprising and interesting. Not seeing either Ferrari or Mercedes on the podium is almost shocking, lol. The rain made an otherwise boring race somewhat interesting.

F1 cars are getting too big for Monaco and other similar courses.

Interesting start to the 500. Rahal couldn't get his car started and missed the parade laps and start of the race while his crew replaced the battery. Several lead changes already and the racing is pretty good so far.

Larson in the house. Interesting interview with him. He's gonna try his hand at it next year. He wins in pretty much everything else, so I think he'll be very competitive.

Woah, this pit road incident is wild. Wow. 2 leaders might have gotten knocked out of contention. Oof.

First yellow and chaos, lol.

Yeah the rain saved the interest level

This is a pretty good Indy 500. 50 laps to go and second yellow of the race. Should be a compelling finish.
