inspired by geauxboy's dislike for blue moon, i felt this thread was essential.....plus i haven't started a thread in a while


what beers do you like???

newcastle
blue moon
rolling rock
most hefeweizens
all abita except the wheat and the light

and for my "el cheapo" i go with bud ice

Pretty much everything except the American Standards like Schlitz, Pabst, Strohs, Coors, Budweiser, Milla, Milwaukee's Best (?), Schaeffers, and such.

I'm picky about stouts and don't really like porters.

Yeah, I didn't get the dislike for Blue Moon. White beers are characterized by the oranges used in brewing and lack of transparency I thought. I'm no expert, though.

I usually stick with the same breweries..nothing special.

flying dog has some good stuff.....i found it in north carolina while visiting my perants....i have noticed that some stores down here are carrying it now

Henry Weinhard--Portland (NW Trail is my favorite)

I am from CO originally. One summer vacation we were in a very small CO town and at a restaurant bar I asked for a Hefeweizen. The bartender looked at me like I had bananas sticking out of my ears. ???? :crazy2:
