There would be like three or four cars on the leap lap at the end.

That's not terribly far for me. 3 1/2 hour drive. I'm probably gonna wait til 2023 to go to a race. Plenty of places to choose from, but seems like Dover would be fun.
Great track but the facility is kind of a dump compared to modern standards. You need to get your arse down to Richmond. It’s easy where you are and a better experience than Dover. But Dover is still cool, go for it.
I went to the fall 2006 race, one of the modern classics at Dover.
Yes! It has been different arrangements over the years (there was a turf course at one point) but they still run horses there - now it's chariot racing:Don’t or didn’t they have a horse track int there too? Very unique place. Fun to watch cars run the rollercoaster there.
The one and only race I ever attended was the 87 Talledega race. Bill Elliot set the record for the fastest lap at 212 mph.Yeah, definitely Richmond. That probably would be my first race.

That was the day I learned NASCAR was special. My boss invited me and my father along. In the seats in front of us
were an Alabama Supreme court justice and a Heart surgeon. I loved it. Go to a race in person. You'll love it as well dave
They need to do something about these single lug wheels.
Yeah, brutal. Fastest car on the track. But guess who's in front? Trackhouse yet again. Crazy how good they are this season. Love it!Man the 11 just continues to have self-inflicted wounds.
I thought he was gonna wreck. Pretty lucky indeed.Bell is lucky he didn't lose a tire.
