The Office (1 Viewer)

From "Business Ethics", the episode in which Jim tallies Dwight's "time theft" at work with a stopwatch:

Jim: By any chance did you see Battlestar Galactica last night?

Andy: No, I did not. Is that any good?

Jim: Actually not. It is really so-so.

Dwight: Ok... (looks at Jim holding a stopwatch ready and shuts up)

Jim: I mean, I like all the crazy monsters and stuff, you know, like Klingons and Wookies and all that, but—

(Dwights turns around, Jim holds up stopwatch, and Dwight sulks back to work)

Jim: Sorry, was there something you wanted to add, Dwight?

Andy: Is that anything like the original Battlestar Galactica?

Jim: You know, it's weird, it's practically a shot-for-shot remake.

(Dwight cringes)

Andy: Really? Huh, that's cool.

Jim: The story's kind of bland. It's about this guy named Dumbledore Calrissian, and he needs to return the ring back to Mordor.

:hihi:

Creed's off the wall statements really crack me up. Today is was the whole scuba and asthma thing.

"but then I realized you didn't need any extra padding."

"Hang on Cynthia......hi Cynthia." Jim's reaction had me rolling.

"you told everyone that I use store bought manure? Michael, you've seen where my manure comes from"

"Am I gay?"

Andy was $ last night.

Last night's episode was good, but I find they're relying too much on character's storylines, rather than situational humor.

Bringing a baby into the show (Jim & Pam) is the equivalent of jumping the shark.

I lold at the rumor about Kevin that he had a tiny person inside controlling him

I like both. The Brit Office, esp David Brent is sheer, blood boiling, cringe inducing hilarity. Michael scott is a least likable and redeems himself once in a while

New webisodes starring Kelly, Andy, Ryan, and new adorable receptionist Erin

They had some great situational humor last night.

Creed: "who's your worm guy":smilielol:

I couldn't agree more with the poster talking about situational humor

The best parts of the Office are the akward humor that filtered into the early seasons from the British version

It seems gone now and when it is applied, it can be hit or miss

I saw a replay of the Casino Night where Toby is telling Michael why he didn't bring kids to Casino Night....

Toby - "Actually, I didn't think it was appropriate to invite children since it's, uh, you know. There's gambling and alcohol... And it's in our dangerous warehouse. And it's a school night. And, you know, Hooters is catering. You know. Is that- is that enough? Should I keep going?"

I still laugh my butt off
