1) All games must be officiated evenly, fairly, without hidden agendas and with the utmost of integrity from the Front Office.

Anything else can still be worded and open for interpretation so that the games can be even more heavily influenced in favor of the almighty dollar. The rules are fine. It’s when and how they enforce them and don’t enforce that is the true issue.

That’s a concept, not a rule. Nothing will improve without actual, defined changes to how games are officiated, and enhanced mechanisms of oversight put in place to improve accuracy and accountability.

A referee was fired this season for failing to call a false start during a regular season game. At minimum this needs to happen to ref or refs who didn't throw a flag in our game. At least show that these officials are being held accountable. Instead we get complete silence from the league.

Not trying to be a smart aleck.....but, how, exactly, would that rule be enforced? So, the front office decides to screw a particular team....then the front office takes action against themselves for doing that?

Just making a point that the rules aren’t the issue. The rule is in place, it was just blatantly ignored. New rules just equal new ways to interpret them for the desired result.

Do we really think more rules will make the game more fair? Brees gets hit in head and neck area, no call. Brady gets hit in chest, roughing the passer....
