I think this probably a good pickup for them. The Vikings consistently made good draft picks while he was there imo.

Looks like he was in Seattle.

I don't think he ever was with the Vikings.

George Paton of Denver was our Assistant GM.

I'm not a fan of our GM to begin with, and Paton was loyal to Spielman for sometime. Some say he's the best "football guy" in the room.

I think Fitterer is probably a strong hire.
George Paton at Denver.... can't be much worse than Elway.

Don't know if either can evaluate a QB well, and that's really 75% of the job.
I give Urban Meyer more of a nod on QB evaluation just because I think he knows what a current offense needs for a QB and he'll cater that to his QB's capabilities.

I’ll take credit for this confusion. I sent the thread in a weird direction because I have no idea who either of these guys are and I got them mixed up. My bad. Haha

I'm very happy we Ireland for at least one more season. This guy has been invaluable to this team since he's been here. We need to give him whatever he wants to keep him here for years to come.
