I just finished up the series and I will say that it ranks up there with Daredevil for me as well. The sheer brutality of it all was crazy. Episode 12 was definitely my favorite. All of Frank Castle's demons come full force and it shows when Frank takes so much damage and still keeps going. Pure rage and adrenaline!

It was fantastic.. and Frank Castle must have mutant powers cause that dude was taking critical damage and recovering mid fight to do some things no man should be able to do. Even Logan is a bit jealous.

Bruh.. the whole dislocated shoulder/pull up seems impossible.

But I had the same reaction to seeing him magically recover from some critical wounds in the middle of a fight and pull off some super human feats.

Finished it over the weekend. Great series. Definitely worthy of what Netflix started with Daredevil. So far the only "related sequel" to live up to the two Daredevil seasons, though Defenders was close. Excellent writing, character development, acting, directing, editing, etc.

There were very few moments where one had to check reality (a couple of Frank's recoveries are it). There was one minor plot hole at one point that I noticed, but I can't even remember what it was now, it was so inconsequential.

The last two "fights" over the last two episodes were decidedly over the top in their brutality and hard to watch, but even so, the series was amazing.

Glad to hear of a season 2, but I would think it would have to be a whole new main cast other than Frank, Karen, and possibly Madani because an entirely new angle is needed for Frank to be motivated to do what he does. It seems like bringing back Micro would be forced, as well as any of the other main players from this story line. Wondering what they have in mind. We'll see, which probably will be a good thing if it can keep up the level they achieved here.

It was a good series but the Punisher's Wolverine-like healing powers were a bit too much. Also, at some point, it was just like they wanted to see how much gore they could put on the screen. Blood and guts over substance.

Finally, the lead actress was SMOLDERING hot. I mean, I couldn't take my eyes off of her face. Just beautiful.
