My wife is an Admn to the CEO, the VP and the General Council (aka Attorney) where she works.. She is amazed at complacency the CEO has because everything is handed to them, work wise.. It used to be 2 different Admin positions, but when the other one got fired, my wife talked them into a pay raise and that she could do both jobs.

People like your wife are worth their weight in gold. They're the grease in the axles of giant machines -- without them, everything grinds to a halt...and then catches fire.
