Ok so with all of this talk about Asante I got to thinking of who is better to determine if he is worth a 100 mil contract.Here is my top ten what is yours.

2. Rasheam Mathis
3. Chris McAlister
4. Nnamdi Asomugha
5. Al Harris
6. Charles Woodson
7. Antoine Winfield
8. Terence Newman
9. Asante Samuel
10. Dunta Robinson

Just to throw it out there, today on ESPN Champ Bailey was asked who he thought the 2nd best corner in the league was, he said it was Asante Samuel.

I think I would take a healthy MM over Woodson, Robinson or maybe even Newman.

I left him off because of that injury. I think Dunta who had a similiar injury is better the his position as well but his ACL may slow him down.

Where did all this "cover 2" stuff on Samuel come from. It seems to have just taken over the threads the last month. NE is not a cover 2 defense, in the sense of the Colts or Bucs. I think Samuel has proven his skills. I still want Briggs, but think that Samuel is being disrespected unfairly.

I have to say despite last season, Nate Clements still has to be considered top 10.

LOL @ Hall being put above some of those guys, especially Mike McKenzie. And where does the Al Harris love come from? The guy got abused in the last part of the season, I think Woodson is a much better corner.
