I was more than okay with his play.

This is his sixth year in the league. He is a rookie on an island
Some title lolGuy just got lit up today.
You said what I was thinking,.I don't understand why the coaches let him get picked on like that. They seriously kept throwing over and over to Doubs and of course we don't give the rookie any help. Honestly it's just poor really poor coaching to leave the rookie out to dry like that. Not cool. even the other guys in the secondary should have seen what was happening. They straight choked.
He is a sixth year player, not a rookie. I think he had help inside on several plays but he was getting beat outside. They can’t help him on both sides.Football is about matchups and finding the weak spot. Everyone is a rookie once. Hopefully he can build on his performance and move upwards. Players that can't make the leap don't last very long.
They do most of the time. Lots of PBUs actuallyThey need to teach these young corners to turn and look for the ball.
Same could be said for Demario Davis whiffing on a juke from Jordan Love on fourth and goal. There are many single what-ifs in a game like that could have changed the outcome. We missed on many of them. What was most disappointing in his play was he dropped an easy interception that would have not only thwarted the 8 points they scored after the drop but a pick there most likely secures the win for the Saints.
For all the attention the fumble out if the end zone rule gets, this is actually what drives me nuts. It rewards a very poorly executed play with game changing yardageI HATE these PI's on the underthrown balls. Because there isn't anything the defender can do against it. If you are running step for step with a guy and he suddenly stops on a dime, turns around and tries to run back the other way you are gonna run over him. That's just how it is.
