It looks like Katia is moving W or slightly WNW. The have already pushed the forecast track further south at 11am. On Wunderground there are some speculating that conditions are looking more favorable for this to become a Caribbean to GoM event.
Additionally, I hear the city of Galveston issued an alert for members of city government to be looking a potential TS or even Hurricane Lee over the weekend.
Any of you weather guys care to comment on these events?
