the VG board football thread (1 Viewer)

These officials can **** my *****. I'm not usually one to complain about officiating, but between the bogus call on the Sproles fumble that was overturned, the terrible call on roughing the passer that kept a Carolina drive alive, the bad call when LaFell was down and not blowing the whistle when Newton's forward progress was stopped on his TD run, the are really keeping Carolina in this game when they shouldn't be.
thankfully it's not just the saints games and it's across the nfl. unfortunately they only seem to go against the saints when we play, and calls that should be called aren't.

every once and a while is tolerable but this is happening almost every drive.

i agree....i usually don't cry about the refs but that first roughing the passer call was just atrocious

****....we won but that has me fuming

The falcon boards are histerical.

I've never seen such an up and down fan base.

I think the best quote ive ever read was one of their fans saying they want to stab mularcky in the chest repeatedly while screaming "GO DEEP GO DEEP GO DEEP" in his face.

Other nice ones, calling Michel turner a fat, decrepit pig.

That message board is hilarious.

Pathetic thing is many seemed surprised by Matt Ryan being so terrible.

Let's think for one second. How do you think Matt Ryan would do if he was playing for the Bears right now? It would be hilarious. His main problem is I believe he is the most one of the most unathletic qb's in the game today. Always falling backwards, clumsy..it's just really sad. His arm also looks a lot weaker than normal. I'm thinking his knee is bothering him.

I'm really enjoying the meltdown of the Falcons. Especially because I and quite a few others saw it coming.

Detroit is going to get a wild card. But that's all they're going to get.

If they didn't have Megatron, I would agree with you.

But that guy is by far the most dominant wr I've seen in decades. Just having him they can steal a few games they would normally lose down the stretch.

It's hard to believe they will over-take green bay though. The only good thing is if we have to play at Lambeau field the Packers running game is really, meh. I'm also hoping that Ingram starts to tear it up towards the end of the year. This could prove really important in the playoffs. He also looks like a "snower".

Green Bay looked human against atlanta. I think losing Clifton is going to mess with them a bit.

if we don't give up that kick return to GB, we are 5-0

We returned one as well, so we are even there with GB.

The REAL difference in that game was the Colston fumble, and this is something he is prone to do at the worst times possible times.

I actually don't see him being with the Saints much longer. He has trouble with separation and is injury prone, we have our big target now in Graham and Meachum is another big one. Moore provides is excellent possession receiver and Devery is our deep threat.

We could really use a receiver that's good with YAC. You can't have everything though, and linebacker is our biggest need right now...all three spots need upgrading, or our young guys need to get a lot better.

He looked better last week, but overall I agree. A Greg Jennings type would be amazing to see in this offense.

Man that's kooky talk. Colston is our most reliable weapon. We could get along without him, yeah, but why try it?

He does have the i opportune drop or fumble now and again. But we take for granted all the tough catches he makes in the clutch. Dude takes the whip every time he catches the ball. He sets the tone for the rest of our receivers with his selfless attitude.

I hope Colston ain't going anywhere.

Colston has missed 10 out of 85 possible games...injury prone??

he has 4 1000+ yard seasons and 40 career TDs playing with a QB that spreads the ball around to everyone

i don't see him going anywhere
