oh, i don't agree at all. there are no feelings, and definitely not any deep down, that i have in any way that lead me to think that we would not re-sign colston. he is money. he is still brees' favorite get-me-out-of-trouble receiver and for good reasons. he also has what so many liked about bush, he attracts double-coverage almost every down. plus payton is very loyal to the players he drafts that produce.http://www.neworleanssaints.com/team/roster/Adrian-Arrington/614d7ac4-f4a3-47a8-9a4d-a7e7d13aee4b

With the emergence of Graham and the threat of Sproles there is no way they can double Colston anymore.

Obviously, Colston is not 100% healthy right now. It will be interesting to see how he does once he is healthy once again. This is a very important year for him. Hey, I'll admit, I could easily be wrong about him. But this year is important for his career.

Meach will be the one to go....he was 1st round pick and has had his chances

he is just not impressive

Sack you are dead wrong. Colston will remain a saint. I any one doesn't return it is butter fingers bob.

I'll admit this is possible. He is disappointing me as well. Next year or so I can see us making a move for a wr in free agency, which could really make things interesting.

I believe for the first time ever we have a REAL offensive weapon at the receiving position. Graham would be great with anyone throwing to him(I question how effective the others would be without Brees). He has all the tools to be one of the best ever to play the game at the TE position. He's certainly the best out there now.

As a matter of fact, if someone asked me if we could only keep 5 players on the Saints and the rest would go into a NFL draft pool like Madden, I would keep Graham second right under Brees.

1)Brees
2)Graham
3)Jenkins
4)Evans
5)Greer

I like Colston, but 5 knee procedures is a lot for any type of WR. I hope he stays, but I would give him a very "fair" offer if I am Loomis. I am ready to move on from Bob too. I have been wanting an upgrade from our WRs for awhile, along with OLBers.

man. You guys are harsh.

I like Meachem. He doesn't look smooth, but he's always running past people. Plus, he's humble, like the rest of our receivers (except maybe Moore). That's important. It's a position where you have to pull on your end of the rope even when you're being ignored. While skillorz are obviously more important, you can't discount how the collective attitude of our receivers helps our team - they work to get each other open even when they aren't getting the glory of the catch.

Meachem would look a lot more impressive in another offense that didn't spread it around so much. If he got 10 targets a game, he'd be the guy that makes people miss and takes it to the house every so often. He does drop some balls when he has to catch them away from his body. But I can live with it.

i wanted greg olsen so bad that year we drafted meachem, but honestly, now i wouldn't have it any other way. the dude is fun to watch, especially when he strips balls for touchdowns.

There are a lot of Madden attitudes towards our team in the last few pages.

You are probably right. How can you really argue with the success our team has had, especially in the passing game. I always have and probably will wonder what Drew would be like with a stud WR to throw to ala Brady-Moss.

Still that said Colston's knees concern me and Bob has never really stepped up his game and drops too many passes. Graham and Moore are two player you build around.

The only way Colston goes anywhere is if another team offers him so much more than the Saints that he has no choice but to take it. I don't see that happening, but that's how Colston leaves.

Watch the game today. He'll make at least one catch that will drop your jaw that no one else, including Jimmy, could make. And it will be on 3rd down with double coverage when the Bucs know it's going to be a throw to him
