If you turn the ball over 4 times, create no pass rush, give up big plays to no name players, the refs can eject Brees for being hit late and you still can't lay any blame on them. What a horrendous showing from the entire team.

i think kreutz may very well be that bad. he's constantly manhandled. charlie brown is too overzealous. the defense is flat. players look to be out of position or lacking any kind of field vision or both (i'm looking at you shanle, nice 65 yard td), and our secondary seems to be getting burned..a lot. the fact that we are giving up turnovers instead of creating them is a really big deal. there is so much potential and talent on the team that it frustrates and disappoints just that much more when we look this bad.The emotional vomiting after losing this game will be substantial as everyone blames everything.
I blame 2 things
1) Terrible run blocking offensive line..so we have the best guards in the NFL but can't run up the middle? Is Kruetz and our tackles that horrible? Or are our guards over-rated?
2) our defense cannot generate turnovers. We are terrible at it. Right now we take all these risks with our blitz packages, yet we can't generate turnovers. Might as well never blitz when we are on the road.
Rough football weekend..sigh
it pains me to have to agree with this.If you turn the ball over 4 times, create no pass rush, give up big plays to no name players, the refs can eject Brees for being hit late and you still can't lay any blame on them. What a horrendous showing from the entire team.
The Packers are gone. All we can see where we are is a dust cloud in their general shape.
i share this fear. the packers have a cupcake schedule, are playing great football, and we really need a miracle to knock them down to at least second place in the NFC (after we take first..). normally it wouldn't bother me for a team to be on track for a second consecutive superbowl run, but i'm bias in thinking that it's still the saints turn to be the spotlight attention. rodgers will get MVP and brees has been robbed twice. even payton got robbed of his second coach of the year for '09. it ****** me off that the saints are always **** on by the media and winning a superbowl only changed that for the week of. it's been all talk about the packers since we won, and for them to go on and win two since chaps my ***. and that's my rant. Now we're 3 games back from the Packers. They have tie-break so make that 3. The reason I am obsessing over this is whether we win our division or are wildcard we'll have to win in Lambeau because no other team in the NFL besides us has a shot at beating them at home.
