Let me start off by saying: The Vikings beat the Saints fair and square in the Dome last week. But should they have? The answer is NO!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, Brees did not have a great game and turned over the ball twice. Yes, Wil Lutz missed a kick he normally made during the regular season. And Yes, the defense allowed Dalvin Cook to get going and subsequently gave Cousins the juice he needed to attack the Saints downfield. But the biggest culprit in the loss last week I believe was COACHING!!!! Payton got outcoached by Zimmer. The biggest thing I don't understand about Sean Payton is why does he refuse to ride something that is showing to be working. When Latavius Murray got to carry the ball he would get 4 to 6 yards. But then, he is running to the sidelines....WHY???????? Line up and do it again until they stop him!!!! I'm seeing Taysom Hill going beast mode against a Vikings defense that had no answers for him. But then Payton goes away from it...WHY???????????? Line up and do it again until they stop him!!!! I'm seeing Shanahan run the ball 8 straight times and having success....There is no "boy genius" to that strategy. Sometimes, you just have to have a no nonsense approach to calling plays and stop trying to trick and fool people!!!!

Yeah, I love Payton but this is my complaint with him. When the runningback is getting 5+ yards a carry force them to show you that they can stop it. And sometimes it's a win for you even if you get no gain. FORCE the opposing defense to stay on the field. It's like body shots in early rounds of a boxing match; it will pay dividends later.

Even in basketball, if your plan is to pound the rock in the post with your dominant center, but suddenly you have a 2 guard that can't miss, KEEP FEEDING THE ROCK to the hot shooter.

There is a bigger difference between the 49ers and Saints than people think. They are a lot better than we are. They have studs all across the field, including an elite defensive line. They have several weapons at key positions. They have that fear factor. We don’t. They playing with anger, intensity and energy. We need more of this to win a Super Bowl. They have leaders all over the field. I don’t think we do.

We dropped 46 on them. It would have been 48 but Payton stupidly went for 2 early in the game, was unsuccessful and as a result had to attempt it again, and again was unsuccessful. I am not sure about being a LOT better. We were right there but couldn't close.

That stupid long bomb before halftime was the game.

Funny thing was, I was not shocked Payton/Brees called that play. They do at all the wrong times.

Uhhh...no they aren't. We dropped 46 on that vaunted defense. If we had any semblance of a defense that game, we would have blown them out of the dome.

The Viqueens are a good team but they lost today due to "Cinderella" aka Kirk Cousins. As soon as 6pm hit they game officially became a evening game which mean he reverted from HOF QB to Trash level.

HOLY CRAP!! Wow. This Titans team is ready to play early, LONG game and a lot left to play but DAYUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUM!!
Makes you wonder how much of winning football is really between the ears. Showing up with more talent or better stats is nowhere near enough.
