Starts Sept 10th and looks interesting and def different from other spin offs, it has already been picked up for a season 2:

Also a look at the first 10 mins:

I'm ready. I'm gonna love the new fast/smart Zombies. which I'm assuming we'll see that was set up by the end credit scenes in World Beyond and teased with at the end of TWD.

Yeah that has to be a massive part of this whole thing.
Here is the last clip I've seen:

I haven't seen any previews that show the "smart" walkers, but i will be disappointed if we don't see them.

For the ones who didn't watch World Beyond and haven't seen the Post Credit scene after the series was over, here it is. I am assuming it is very relevent to this series.

Only a few days away. I don't consume spoilers for shows, but sometimes I will read generic reviews. The few I've seen are pretty good, which definitely gives me some good vibes about this whole endeavor. This one (CB.com) in particular paints a nice picture without giving anything away:

Daryl Dixon is epic and entertaining as it expands the Walking Dead mythology with rich world-building. France feels like a lived-in, dramatically different corner of the Walking Dead Universe, populated by an intriguing cast of new characters. Along their journey, Daryl and company encounter Lou (Kim Higelin), the resilient leader of scrappy forager youths; Fallou (Eriq Ebouaney), a well-connected Parisian ally of the Union of Hope; and Quinn (Adam Nagaitis), the dimensional, double-dealing owner of an underground Paris nightclub.

Norman Reedus is magnifique, reenergized by what is destined to become event television. Already renewed for a second season, the new series delivers what Walking Dead fans want — and something entirely unexpected. Daryl Dixon is The Walking Dead as you've never seen it before, enlivened and reinvented to prove that there's a lot of life left in the zombie drama. Vive la Walking Dead. Long live The Walking Dead.

Rating: 4.5 out of 5

I loved TWD but got sick and tired of it toward the end. Sick and tired of zombies. Sick and tired of Daryl.

But I aint sick and tired of French scenery. Especially French nun scenery.

I hope they follow the Rule of Galahad's Beacon.

Daryl was the reason Neagan plot went so long. If he doesn't drive a truck through the wall, they never get out. He thought he was letting the Zombies in, but all he did was let Negan get his people out.
Same with Glen, had he just shut his yap, then Glenn wouldn't have gotten killed (yea i know Glernn was supposed to die) either.
But Daryl has made it clear he is not a leader, and has no desire to be.

Friendly reminder that it airs tonight...
A little Saints gameday in New Orleans and then a trip to France at night!
