The way I see it, there's only two guaranteed locks to become franchise QBs in this draft (1 Viewer)

They're all prospects, every single one of them, even Joe and Tua, until they prove they can play in the NFL. No such thing as a guaranteed lock IMO.

Dude had one really, really good year and one borderline awful year. There's plenty of questions, especially given the WR talent around him at LSU.

Numbers can't express Jow Burrow's value and talent. He's an alpha dog, and you can't measure that with numbers.

Sure thing, when the grade the team has on the player warrants the selection at that point. That doesn't mean a painful reach, 2011 is only one example of how badly that can tend to work out.
Agree. In no situation should they reach terribly for any position.

And he is like 2 years older than most QB prospects. He is grossly overrated here for being a 5th year player.

Then there's the Drew Brees and Russel Wilson types that are not first round hyped up glamour boys because they came out of college being judged on there size and lesser accomplishments in college; but what they had that really counted was sadly ignored by the so called experts; High QB-IQ to play at the NFL level.

It almost sounds like fixating on 'ideal QB measurables' and ignoring questionable QB skills would be a mistake? Shocking (cough cough Jordan Love)

I'm just gonna leave this right here...

I find myself rating Burrow more on his composure on/off the field than his stats.... every QB coming out of College has the stats if their in a conversation for a top 5 pick... The only thing I would knock on Burrow is how well he will throw when he has a great OL seems all his plays were while he was on the move... I guess you could say he has that Romo feel a little bit seemed he was always at his best when he had to scramble
