Even considering the amount of money they'll have to spend, and the likely very high draft pick, it is impossible to believe in this FO to properly spend it or make good draft choices.
the offense is still Super Bowl caliber. They could win a championship with this offense.
i will give the defense the benefit of the doubt to an extent due to the massive amount of injuries, but the defense is almost totally devoid of talent due to a cascading failure in player evaluation. Breaux is very good. Robertson is good. Jordan is above average. Maybe Rankins will be good. Vaccaro is good.
Steph Anthony is a bust. You can blame his position switch all you want, and you'd be right to an extent, but it's not like he was very good last year.
Kikaha is a tweener with no position coming off his 3rd ACL.
Peat is an average LG that we used the #13 pick on. He will never play LT as long as Armstead is healthy and he will never be able to play RT.
They spent $7.25 million on an average TE coming off a season in which they had by far the worst defense in NFL history.
This era is over.
