There was a time last season when the best thing we could hope for was the team playing in New Orleans again. At the onset of the season, we were all so happy they were here that we didn't care how the season turned out. Now were complaining that they lost a game to an inferior opponent.

First off, it's nice that there are "inferior opponents" this season. We used to be the door mats of the league and now we're actually favored to win games. Second, and more importantly, we're all incredibly lucky to enjoy the season we're having. Not so much because they're doing well, but because we have our team back. The winning season is great, don't get me wrong, but the miracle already happened: the Saints are home and the Saints are fun to watch again.

Basically all I'm saying is that we're having a great year, even when we lose. It was one game and it doesn't determine our season. I'm grateful that I can watch my team at the local sports bar, wear my Brees jersey proudly and enjoy a good game. Win or lose, I'm happy that we have our boys back. Everything else is just football.

That being said, I'm still going to be pulling for the Saint's harder than I thought possible to win out and win in the playoffs. Whatever they do is great in my book, but I sure would like to see Brees lift that trophy in Miami. Win or lose, I still am going to have fun on Sundays.

amen to that, glad we have a team...and I'm stoked that we're going to the playoffs!

I agree with you. It's still hard to take that we have been playing so well. It's good to have that perspective though.
