This loss was the worst, record wise, for any team since 1986 (1 Viewer)

Would anyone feel different if ATL finishes the year 8-8?

Why do we always have to set dubious records?
We don't, because these aren't "records" in any meaningful sense of the word.

They are conjured statistical aberrations that are neither memorable nor durable.

24/7 sportsmediamorons need something to talk about. Things were never this inane before web access to sports stats.

Ignore the nonsense. :jpshakehead:

Maybe the worst home loss, but us going to St. Louis and getting the **** kicked out of us by the 0-6 Rams in 2011 was the worst loss period regardless of semantics.

They jumped on us 24-0 with the mighty A.J. Feeley at the helm and Steven Jackson running for 158 yards at 6.3 YPC and 2 TD’s. Our first score didn’t come until 1:21 left in the 3rd quarter and Brees didn’t throw a TD until :06 left in the 4th (almost ending the consecutive TD streak he was building to pass Unitas the next year).

The 2011 Rams finished 2-14 only beating the 4-12 Browns and us. What made it even worse in retrospect was that Rams team was coached by Steve Spagnuolo.

IIRC, the ‘94 SF 49’ers had their arse’s handed to them (at home): 40-8

They went on to win the SB.

That last sentence is all I care to see from our Saints this season.

C'mon ndcc, you are not allowed to deviate from the "sky is falling" narrative permeating the board right now. How dare you?

By the way, on this Veterans Day, I would like to thank you for your long-term service in the Navy.

Why did Brees stand out? He couldn't read the defense, couldn't figure out how to throw a ball away, and couldn

What personal attack? It's a fact that you have been whining for over 24 hours now.

Guys kill the Superbowl talk. We ain't winning Nathan if we don't figure something out on defense and at guard. Will Clapp should be cut for how many times he got beat on the line. The only people who stood out to me was Brees and Thomas and Harris. That's it! Even AK didn't do much. On another note Jared Cook is finally starting to come around. TQS made absolutely great catch but the verdict is still out on him.

GO RIGHT AHEAD AND PUT YOUR FAILCON EMOJIS UP BUT DONT BE BLIND ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED ON SUNDAY IN OUR HOUSE.

Who's Nathan?
