This Might Be Interesting (1 Viewer)

I used TVU to follow the world cup action at work. There is definitely a delay in the broadcast, but at least you get to see the game.

Glad to hear a few of you have tried this. So, I wonder how long the NFL will let this continue?

I'm not really sure how they can stop it. Sopcast is basically just a webstream coming from some guy whereever he might be.

I'm sure they have their resources on the more common avenues already, but it's gonna be hard to stop the sprouting up of new ones.

I've downloaded both of them, but I can't for the life of me figure how to find specific stations- how do that so I can add local NOLA stations to "my" list?

I don't think you're going to be able to add specific stations to your list in either one. They're not stations, they're webcasts. So, they're probably only going to be up and running for gametime.

Ok, this might help. I found a guy on the sopcast forum that has a blog listing all streamed nfl games. NO vs SF is listed as being on tvuplayer on FOX. Hope he's right!

Bob

Oh, yeah his blog is www.streamednfl.blogspot.com

I posted this on another thread. Yes, everyone can watch the game on TVUPlayer. The Fox station that's listed on TVUPlayer is the San Francisco station. Chances are somewhat better than good that the 49ers might be on in San Francisco.

The NFL is going to hate this. I am loading it up for Sunday, I am in St. Martin for R&R and could not find a sports bar on island.

You need a tv card if you are going to be "contributing" to the webcast.

Anyone have any idea if Sopcast.com is showing the Saints, and if so which channel? I downloaded the program, but can't find the Saints game. Maybe I'll have to try that TVU program.

Thanks
