At this point, I see winning the NFC South as a more likely scenario than Wildcard. But the parity in the NFC makes me think that a #6 seed is not a stretch... but wouldn't come easily.
I'm encouraged by the progress of the defense, especially since we've lost a lot in the secondary.
I'm also encouraged that D. Allen is not starting players just because they've been here (Anthony), or they're veterans (Laurinaitis). Payton is also willing to bench players, as he did with Ingram today! The fire that Vaccaro showed after last week's loss translated into overall improved play vs. the Seahawks.
