I know Goodell sabotaged our season, but let"s look on the bright side. There was no Manning(Peyton or Eli), no Tom Brady, no Aaron Rodgers, no Matty Ice, and no "perfect record in Superbowls" 49'ers to win this Superbowl. I'd say that is as good of an outcome as I could get!!! Now, on to next year. WHO DAT!!

I hear what you're saying, but it would of been SWEET to have done it ourselves. And, I don't think I'll ever fully get over what Goodell single handedly has done to this team, and/or continues to do.

"Perfect" would've been Matt Ryan getting bounced in the Divisional round to maintain his winless streak in the playoffs. But what we got was pretty close. :)

Nah, I think the disappointment for them of getting bounced in the NFC championship hurt more!!!
It's a tough call, man. I can't deny there's a certain delicious poetry in the Birds gettin' smacked down right on the cusp of the big game. On the flipside, two #1 seeds and a big donut in the win column is a pretty bad blemish on the ol' playoff resume.

Knowing those fools, they probably broke out the champagne after scoring their first honest-to-goodness playoff touchdown against the 'Hawks.

I agree with everything you said. I was initially rooting for Green Bay to beat San Fran, and Seattle to beat Atlanta. When neither of those two happened, I had to root for San Fran to eliminate Atlanta, then lose the SB. Great outcome.
