When did you get your hard copy of the ticket?

I won a Superbowl package and it's Wednesday and I have yet to receive the tickets. Just kinda wondering if this is normal.

I have my hotel and flight info... I guess I could go to Dallas and do the events :jpshakehead:

I would suggest calling the people who you won it from. More than likely, you will have to go to a will call booth with your ID.

I have been in contact. They are using a 3rd party to buy the tickets and they haven't received them yet. It's not looking promising.

All depends -- i didn't get mine until the morning of the game -- but, i was highly confident in the package company.

If they are getting the tickets outside of direct purchase (which is highly likely), they will most probably get them on Friday or Saturday morning. That's when most of the tickets on the street move to their final vendor's hands.

That means you will get them around the same time. This is common if you are not dealing directly with the NFL. The bad part is that there are some shady vendors out there that will simply not fill an order and refund the purchaser's money if prices are not what they like for margin. Let's hope that the people you won the package from aren't dealing with that kind of vendor.

They're rather confident that they will have me the tickets by Friday. I fly out Saturday morning... I hope so :-\ I was initially told that I was getting them last week, but I don't have em. At least I have a hotel reservation and flight LOL (confirmed those)

Last year got the tickets in Miami, but that was the plan. Let them know your flight info and pick them up at 'will call'. They could cancel the hard ticket and just give you a print out, then no chance of losing a souvenier.

Via stubhub, I got mine Saturday. They don't get printed until this week, to reduce scalping.

Essentially, they have tomorrow to ship it out or I am going to somehow get it at the hotel or will call. Regardless, its rather frustrating :-\

SB tickets

I picked mine up in FLL in a hotel by the beach, Saturday before.
That was pretty mandatory within 3 days before the game.

We flew to FLL without the tickets but felt better when in hand
and actually when we got in SB44.....

Now the tickets are going to be "hand delivered in Dallas"... We'll see.

Didn't get our until Friday night before the game last year, but we had no delivery concerns based on our source, which thankfully is pretty closely connected to the league.

Just go have a good time.

I have documented my story on here before, but I bought my tickets just slightly after the Jets flew over the stadium. It was a wild circumstance of events that culminated exactly right.

But as a backup plan, here is what you might do if the tickets dont show. Go down to the stadium anyway (it gets really packed so leave yourself plenty of time). There should be planty of pre-game stuff going on.

Wait until it gets closer to game time and head closer to the entrence. You will probably be approached by scalpers who will want an arm and a leg for tickets....but if you wait till just after the jets fly over some of them will be in a hurry to onload what ever tickets they have left. If you get lucky and hold to your ground you might get in.

I brought exactly the amount I was willing to pay $320 and when the guy haggled with me I reached in my pocket pulled out the cash and said, "thats it that all I got."

The guy took the wad of cash, sniped back at me "Dude, your ripping me off" and as I looked in my hand there was a Saints Superbowl Ticket.

When I first heard the idea from a Dolphins fan staying at my hotel I was skeptical. I was afraid of scalping and the trouble I could get in since I work with a lot of police in Florida it wasnt a risk I wanted to take. But after I talked with a officer friend she explained in Florida its not scalping if you buy the tickets for face value or less. I am not sure about Texas but its likely the laws may be the same.

I know its risky, no guareentee but if you are there without a ticket, what do you have to lose...?

Good Luck and I hope you enjoy the game.
