A friend plays shotgun almost all game and routinely throws either medium to deep over the middle or at corner routes to the sidelines, this is a strategy I'm thinking of employing against him the next time.

I'm thinking of taking Jenkins and Robinson and moving them out wide and putting Porter and Greer against the slots. I'm almost sure Porter and Greer manned up would shutdown any type of slot corner, but was wondering if you guys think they would be any more effective in zone as opposed to Jenkins and Gay/Robinson in zone.

Also have been debating at what spot should I put Harper/Jenkins/Gay

SS Harper
Wide CB Jenkins
Extra safety in Quarters Gay

SS Jenkins
Wide Corner Gay
Extra Safety in Quarters Harper

Cover 4 usually does the best job stopping any plays with corners and posts, but the flats are left wide open. Any other play you just have to be patient and wait for an opening. Any other suggestions other than playing man/bump and blitzing hoping I get there before he throws? I can and do blitz just looking to mix it up and make zone defense more effective.
