I heard Gus Kattengell on 1420 in Lafayette this evening with Scott Prather, who incidentally may be the best talk-show host in Louisiana. Some comments by Gus:

--This Saints team is more talented than last year's team.

--This defense is the most talented of the Sean Payton era.

--The Chiefs and the Saints will play in the Super Bowl, much like you could expect the Warriors and the Cavs with LeBron to meet in the NBA finals.

I don't see this. Maholmes is very good but there is film on him this year. His stats won't be anywhere close to what they were last year. They won't make it to the AFCCG.

Not going to lie, I wish he was still the Saints' sideline reporter. Garic just doesn't cut it for me, especially on WWL's Sports Talk.
