The New Orleans Saints and Cincinnati Bengals updated their injury reports on Thursday, ahead of their upcoming game in the Queen City. Here’s what’s changed from earlier reports.
From the Saints
Only two Saints listed on Wednesday’s report did not participate on Thursday: defensive end Marcus Davenport (toe) and wide receiver Cameron Meredith (knee). Meredith was sent to injured reserve and will undergo a an arthroscopic procedure due to continued swelling in his surgically-repaired knee. Davenport is still in a walking boot, patiently getting back to full health.
Every other Saints player previously listed were limited participants. That includes cornerback P.J. Williams (hamstring) and right guard Larry Warford (not injury related), who were upgraded to limited reps after sitting out on Wednesday. The rest of the Saints’ starting offensive line were worked into limited action, continuing to rest after beating up some of the best defensive lines in football over the last three weeks: left tackle Terron Armstead (knee), left guard Andrus Peat (hip), center Max Unger (knee), and right tackle Ryan Ramczyk (knee). ...
