Analysis
Colston had the dropsies BIG TIME today. 4 total drops and a few more that were tough catches that he usually hauls in. Not to mention the INT he allowed that would've been a TD. We started slow on offense with drops, 3-and-outs, and turnovers that gave away 17 of the 34 Miami points, but they pulled out the 20-yard plays and one big 60-yarder by Shockey in the 2nd half.
The final score makes it look like the defense was porous, but besides 2 plays (to Ricky Williams and Brian Hartline), they were extremely tough. And they scored 14 points themselves and helped the offense score another. For the season, our offense and ST have "allowed" more points than the defense has.
Fire the ST coach. Yesterday. Just horrible. When the KO goes to the goalline and your KR gets only 18 yards or the KO goes to the 10 and your KR gets only 8, you have issues. And the blocking on PRs has been horrible since day one. We need something and I think it's a new coach.
