It all had to do with the FORE KIDS FOUNDATION...Tiger was here doing a clinic for the underpriveledged kids and the politicians were bringing their own kids...just so they could see Tiger...he didn't like the fact that they used their political clout to take advantage of what he was trying to do for the underprivaledged kids...so he's holding out on doing a tournament here....

That's pretty much what I heard as well.

ditto...had to do with Morial charging "usage fee" for the Park Facility where they were to hold the event.

Morial wanted to charge Harrah's for the "air space" above the old Rivergate when they were planning the Casino/Hotel....

When you have the worlds best golfer ever to pick up a club trying to help kids you should comp the Park Facility. Morial must be some rich old dude by now. He maybe dead - don't know and too tired to google it right now.
