MOBILE, Ala.—Considering the Senior Bowl is a showcase for the top football talent in the country, especially to more than 800 NFL executives, coaches and scouts that invaded this city this week, it would be easy for some to try and be something they’re not.

While improving their draft stock was the main focus, making a favorable first impression was a close second for three members of the LSU team that claimed the BCS national title and three other players with Louisiana ties.

LSU running back Jacob Hester, linebacker Ali Highsmith and cornerback Chevis Jackson will be among the South players who’ll be trying to just be themselves in the 59th annual all-star game at 3 p.m. today in Ladd-Peebles Stadium. Full Story – Advocate
