Fluker plays more like a Guard IMO. I think he will be switched to RG in the NFL.

I think this guy nails it...
Negatives: Needs to keep his weight in check, as his excessive girth sometimes prevents him from getting down in a proper stance … Gets too high in his stance, letting defenders slip off his blocks … More of a waist bender, lacking crisp hips to redirect, but uses his body mass to push and wall off … Will wear down late in games … Has a history of back ailments (stenosis) that needs further medical evaluation … Has marginal explosiveness coming off the snap … Relies too much on his wingspan to contain pass rushers, but will struggle to mirror quicker defenders coming off the edge.
Negatives: Has a good work ethic, but performs better when he is pushed by the coaching staff … Needs to add more bulk to his frame … Medical concern in regards to his left knee will see him drafted lower than his stock indicates, as he has been unable to work out for pro teams leading up to the draft … Struggles some in the classroom and is not the most instinctive blocker you will find, as he is sometimes late recognizing coverages … Has the strength to finish, but does not do it with consistency … Has a good hand punch, but poor placement, struggling to recoil and reset … Bit of a waist bender retreating in pass protection … Has good aggression, but will throttle down at times and take plays off … Lets the defender get into his frame too often and needs to do a better job of extending his arms to keep the opponent away from his body … Gets too high in his stance, narrowing his base and bending at the waist, causing strong bull rushers to walk him back into the pocket … Has good quickness, but fails to generate an explosive burst coming off the ball … Might be a better fit at right tackle or guard, where he would not have to be exposed playing out on an island.
Negatives: Needs to improve his lower body strength, as he can be walked back into the pocket vs. a strong bull rush … Plays with good aggression, but needs to do it with better consistency … Must improve his knee bend, as he is more of a waist bender and this causes him problems in attempts to redirect … Might be a better fit on the right side or at guard, as he tends to drag his left leg in his kick slide … When he fails to sink his weight and gets tall in his stance, he struggles to get movement on the defender and will lose leverage … Good pass protector, except when getting pushed back, as he fails to keep his feet under him … Has a strong hand punch, but must show better placement with it, as he doesn't always grab on and slow down his man … When he narrows his base, he loses balance on the move … Vulnerable to counter moves, as he needs to recoil his hands quicker (when they get outside the frame, defenders can get into his chest and ride him out).
I'xe been listening to them for 3-4 years, they do it every Friday a month before the draft. It changes every week, No way Ziggy Ansah goes all the way down to the Packers at 26th..Tim Ryan and Pat Kirwan's mock draft today had Saints taking offensive lineman DJ Fluker with 15th pick. Werner went to Bucs at 13. Tim made the pick, said Saints needs were offensive line, defensive line and safety. He also made Werner pick, said Bucs would go with best available defensive player instead of addressing major need at corner.
Tim may be stretching that. Fluker is not a LT.
