Yeah, and in some of those wins we didn't even get into the end zone and had a defense playing on fire for all five of the wins. And it's not like there was some huge disparity in passing attempts between the two either. The offense is night and day with DB vs TB.

Yeah, you have to be careful judging how a QB will play out long term based on a small sample size. For the first 5 games he started, Kyle Allen looked like he was the Panther's new pro-bowl QB. Then the wheels fell off.

I do not think that would happen to Teddy because I think he's better. But I do think there would have been a lull had he started the rest of the year. The defense was simply not going to keep up that kind of play.

It’s crazy that I keep seeing some ppl say “he just had a bad game”. Like it’s acceptable for a damn near 20 yr vet @ QB, who’s supposedly the greatest ever (according to some), who supposedly takes much pride in his exemplary game preparation, who keeps holding off retirement just to comeback n supposedly get another ring, to put on a stank as a bum’s arse playoff performance as he did LoL just WOW

If Ms Benson gives this man another $20+mill contract for great stats n a decade old championship then there’s virtually no reason to get ur hopes up for this team until the contract has ran it’s course

I just cant wrap my head around how a guy needs to get his thumb sprained n miss 6 wks just to be fresh for the last leg of the regular season AND U STILL LOOK WEAK AS HELL IN THE PLAYOFFS! UNFREAKINBELIEVABLE!

Drew Brees WILL NOT lead this team to another championship. I pray that the Saints FO grow some balls n cut this relationship short NOW

that’s just it, the defense and special teams stepped up and played well. We didn’t need toGo pass happy.

that difference between QBR rating if really sad on Drew’s part. Roughly a 16 point difference

Qbr 116.3. Future 1st ballot HOF candidate, all time record holder for most stats and almost 2 decades of experience. Multiple pro bowls and a bad shoulder injury over a decade ago

QBR 99.1 5yr vet with a pro bowl appearance and also a horrendous knee injury that took him out of the nfl for approx 2 seasons.

yep, one is definitely not like the other.

the QBR doesn’t take into account the running game. A TD is a TD rushing or passing.

I just hope that if he does come back, he angles for something around closer to $20 more than $30 - knowing that we need to keep more and more of a complete team around him the older he gets.

Yeah I think its very reasonable to hope for a number closer to $20 mil. I would be shocked at a number closer to $30 mil unless there is a huge increase in the the salary cap.
