Heading to NO for the bucs game. Got a cousin that somehow became a bucs fan joining me. I've been to NO several times but usually do the same stuff. Check in, hit the quarter and start boozing on Bourbon. I usually eat Acme once, du monde once and some breakfast place that's really good before making the walk down poydras for the game. Is there a "must try" restaurant anyone can suggest? I don't care if it's cheap or expensive. Is there a bar or any entertainment anyone would suggest? Still looking to enjoy every minute but growing out of the just there to blackout on hurricanes and what not age.

If you haven't done parkway bakery yet you should. Also Cane and table on Decatur

Went to a place called Joey K's on Magazine once. We had all you can eat catfish for 8.99. Delicious and a good way to get a meal in before/during drinkin' :beerchug:

Red Fish Grille on Bourbon about 1-2 blocks up from Canal was very good also. We sat at the bar and the bartender was one of the all-time best, he was a complete pro.

Other than that I like to drink my meals in New Orleans :ezbill:

j/k, I hear ya about being past the wobble-and-fall-in-the-quarter stage. I remember my buddy drinking 3-4 Hurricanes at Pat O'Briens, then walking around with a red mustache until he keeled over at about 1am. We did laugh at him...:)
