I really don't think All-madden is that bad....
Here are some tips:
1) Watch the Safety's (anytime Colston is man to man Throw the rock towards him)
This is the best tip as a QB because if they play up they are probably going to blitz so if you have one on one with a dominant reciever like Colston throw the ball, and he will go up and get it every time...
2) Fake snap the ball occasionally (If you do not do this the D will continue to rush you)
3) Get the ball out when passing in under 3 seconds and do not hit turbo to run with the QB ( unless you have Vince Young). Not hitting turbo will really help. Many do not realize how often you use the turbo button with the QB and if you just stayed in the pocket and get the ball out he delivers a quicker more accurate pass.
4) Run the ball from a singleback form with 2 TE and lead block one of the DE with the TE it is a play that I personally run and it works everytime... This play causes an immediate pancake of the DE and the TE will usually block the safety and the CB will be blocked by the WR. (Especially with Bush he can get to the outside and beat the safety for a TD)
5) Always have a swing route or a quick slant when in Shotgun to get the ball out with the blitz
6) On 3rd and inces or 4th and 1 give the ball to the FB on a Goaline Dive...It is guaranteed a yard
These tips are mostly on offense the Defense I run works very well for me, but I place a large burden on my FS as I make him personally either cover a RB, WR, or rush the QB depending on his assignment on man to man coverage. (I would offer this advice, but I am sure that my Defensive play style would not suit many gamers)
This being said I think All-Madden is awesome. It is very challenging and you can play a full season and wind up with a real record of 10-6 if you save losses. I personally prefer to save losses because when you build your franchise your team becomes that much better, and soon you will be 12-4 then who knows...
