To be fair though, the offense under Payton evolved into get the ball to MT and Kamara and everyone else block. So, he had value back in the day. But, not so much anymore.

I’m aware of that. Although, I always thought his blocking was just average.

Yes, hamstring. But he elected to not return from that injury and there’s a lot of talk that he could have

What’s bad is we had to start lining up Kirkwood and/or TQS as h-backs or wings in the last few games because we didn’t have enough depth of run blockers.

He tried to play through it twice. Got injured in the first game. Came back two weeks later and was playing hurt (reinjury?) then came back a month later and still wasn’t healthy.

At some point it’s not smart to keep pushing through and potentially reinjuring it.
