Gotta say.. I'm a little teary-eyed... I remember questioning his commitment to winning post Mora-era and pre Katrina..and the rumors of a permanent move to San Antonio, Tx.. and the "get off my property" moment. Those were some troubling times... Post-Katrina Benson turned my opinion of him around and I regained my respect for his commitment to rebuilding the Saints and more importantly, your city... when using city loyalty as leverage to get new stadiums or pack up and leave was the fashion of the day... That Tom Benson is the one I will miss... Rest in peace Mr. Benson. God Bless you and your family!
