I watched every game he played in last year.
Game one in the Dome against ULL he was putting the ball on the money and looked very good doing it. Game two against USM he was doing the same thing, until he got hurt.
After that game he never looked the same. O-line didn't help him out, and he was banged up the rest of the season. He showed some glimpses of a really good passer, but the injury, play calling, and his receivers didn't help.
I mean go back and look at the Manning Passing Academy last year. They said he was the most impressive QB there.
I like the move because Payton will keep him on the team by any means. Whether as a TE or a gadget player who might end up on IR.
If Drew is done after this year and we hand the keys to Taysom, Taysom won't be able to Taysom so you need a new Taysom to Taysom and that new Taysom is Taysom 2.0, which we have in camp now.
