That was wild. Who's boat (hmm, ship) was that? It looked like a bath toy.

I can't remember... But here's the shows synopsys

Sinking a Destroyer TVPG
Air and naval forces from all over the world join ranks and open fire on a modern destroyer.
Channel:269Air Time- 11:00 PM - 12:00 AM

269 on DTV is History, so that should be same for me. Apparently DTV has a feature where I can set my DVR online. Time to figure that out.

Spend a little too much time in the bath tub? That **** aint real?

:hihi: :hihi: :hihi:

That's not what I meant to imply. The way it broke apart, though, was like it was made out of plastic or toothpicks. And if someone can get those kind of ocean and explosion affects with CGI on a plastic destroyer, I'll eat my hat (actually, they probably can, so I take that back).

edit for the record, I don't spend any time in the bath since Seinfeld's comment to Kramer about sitting around in a pool of his own filth (sic)

Its real. Modern torpedoes dont actually hit the ship. They detonate under the keel and use the physics of the incompressibility of fluid to do damage. Warhead explodes and forces water and gas upwards smashing into the ship hull forcing it up and out of the water. Now the ship is subjected to forces that it is structurally unable to to withstand and it snaps in half from its own weight that is no longer being born by the water.

a one angle uncut video of the same shot.
